What the enemy meant for evil, God has used for good! The newly pardoned Pro-Life advocates have begun sharing their prison testimonies, and they are powerful!
While some people might have expected them to question God in such a difficult situation, these advocates did the opposite. Instead, they used their time behind bars to spread the Gospel, leading fellow inmates to salvation through Jesus Christ.
Three Pro-Life prisoners—Paulette Harlow, William Goodman, and Jean Marshall—sat down with Kayleigh McEnany on Fox to discuss their experiences.
“Did you ever ask yourself, ‘Why God?’” McEnany asked.
“No,” Jean Marshall responded. “We had a Bible study going, and a couple of the women joined. They were so enthusiastic. They were so thankful. One of them said, ‘Now I know why I wound up in prison—so I could hear this Bible study.’”

Biden’s Department of Justice prosecuted these Pro-Life advocates under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. What should have been treated, at most, as minor trespassing incidents by local authorities was instead escalated to federal charges. As a result, Pro-Lifers faced disproportionately harsh sentences, serving anywhere from two to five years in prison.
Bevelyn Beatty Williams, another Pro-Life advocate, shared a similar prison testimony on the Relatable podcast with Allie Beth Stuckey.
“I became known for my actions as an honorable woman,” Bevelyn said. “They didn’t really want to hear me preach, they wanted to see my walk.”
“My bunkie, who was smoking at the time, gave her life to Christ,” she revealed. While in prison, Williams began to disciple her newly saved bunkmate, teaching her how to walk with Jesus.
These testimonies serve as a powerful reminder that God can use any situation for his glory. Even in the darkest of places, these Pro-Life advocates brought light, proving that faith can be unshaken in the midst of persecution.
Their courage should inspire us all to stand firm in our beliefs and continue the fight for Life—no matter the cost.
