Legislation
By passing new laws, we can save lives today and create lasting change nationwide.
The Lord commands us to rescue the weak, the lowly, and the needy (Psalm 82).
Even though it’s illegal to kill preborn babies in our state, abortions are still happening in plain sight. About 30,000 lives are ended per year between illegal pills and out-of-state procedures. That’s why we fight to rescue them.
Here’s a look at what we do:
- Research and write bills to protect preborn children from abortion
- Meet with officials in the Capitol to support good policies or stop bad ones
- Secure state funding for pregnancy centers and adoption agencies
(And then keep an eye on bureaucrats to make sure they don’t misuse the funding) - Keep you informed with online articles and in-person speeches across the state

Pro-Life Laws Work!
From defunding Planned Parenthood, to passing the Texas Heartbeat Act, and paving the way for overturning Roe v. Wade, Texas Right to Life has shaped history.
Some people wonder, “Do we really need to pass Pro-Life laws?”
Consider the impact of the Texas Heartbeat Act—over 16,000 more babies were born than expected, a 2% increase in Texas’ birth rate in 2021 alone! And this doesn’t even include the additional Pro-Life protections enacted after Roe was overturned in 2022.
Our actions in the Capitol right now make a difference for generations.
