Update: Praying for Rosemary

Praise God! We secured more time for Rosemary!

Rosemary is in a hospital in Temple. Her treatment is working, but hospital administrators are planning to take away her care against her will!

The hospital committee started a 10-day countdown that was set to end this Sunday. If the countdown expires, Rosemary will pass away prematurely.

Thanks to your prayers, administrators now extended the countdown after our Patient Advocacy team found errors that the hospital made during this process.

However, the clock is still ticking…

The hospital plans to take away the care Rosemary needs to live on July 20.

Please pray that our Patient Advocacy team can save Rosemary!

Rosemary is conscious, and she makes eye contact with her husband! She even begins to cry when he says “I love you.” Her treatment is working and helps her continue to fight!

However, if the hospital takes away her ventilator, dialysis, and other treatments at the end of the countdown in two weeks, Rosemary will pass away prematurely, and there will be nothing her family can do.

Unfortunately, this immoral action is still legal under the shocking Texas “10-Day Rule” (soon to be “25-Day Rule” in September).

Please pray for Rosemary, and consider rushing a gift to our Patient Advocacy Fund as we fight to restore her Right to Life and serve patients like her across Texas.

We are still working with the hospital to stop the countdown and transfer Rosemary. If that fails, we are exploring all legal options before the extension expires.

Your contributions to the Texas Right to Life Patient Advocacy Fund help patients like Rosemary. This fund is used specifically to protect vulnerable patients from the 10-Day Rule and other forms of removal of life-sustaining treatment. Your generosity ensures that there is a legal defense to anyone who calls for help for a hospitalized family member.

Continue to lift up Rosemary in your prayers. We are moving in the right direction, but time is not on our side.

  • May the Holy Spirit fill the hearts of the hospital staff so that they help transfer Rosemary to another facility and save her life.
  • May the Lord’s peace calm Rosemary and her family to know that God is with them.
  • May God grant the Texas Right to Life Patient Advocacy team wisdom to defend Rosemary.

And may God bless you and keep you for saving the lives of vulnerable patients.

The Patient Advocacy Fund is part of the Texas Right to Life Educational Fund (501(c)3). This allows your gift to be tax-deductible.
