Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor has struck and told the Pro-Life owners of Hobby Lobby to exit her court!
She ruled that Hobby Lobby MUST pay for abortion-inducing drugs for their employees, and she upheld ObamaCare in its entirety.
If the owners of Hobby Lobby obey their conscience and refuse to purchase abortion-inducing drugs for their employees, they will be fined an astronomical $1.3 million per day and will ultimately lose their business.
Despite the owners' deep religious convictions, Sotomayor, ruling for the whole Supreme Court, said Hobby Lobby is not a religious organization and, therefore, will never be exempt from ObamaCare's rules.
Remember, ObamaCare was passed without a single conservative vote in Congress.
Today, the Democratic platform advocates taxpayer-funded abortions. By the thousands, pro-abortionists are destroying lives, both the unborn and the women who fall prey to the false freedom that abortion promises with the elimination of an unplanned pregnancy.
This is a problem for America but within the past few years, we've seen the radicalization of pro-abortionists in Texas, too. Will you stand up to them?
Here's how the pro-abortionists work against Life:
I've told you before that passing Pro-Life laws in Texas is very difficult. With RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) controlling committees and pro-abortionists scaring legislators with false attack ads and made-for-TV speeches against Pro-Lifers on the legislative floor. The media, in the pocket of the abortion lobby, then repeat these attacks day-and-night.
With this formula, pro-abortionists are able to defeat life-saving legislation.
But I'm standing up to them, will you join me?
Help me stand up to the pro-abortionist's war on women and Life by sending your Pro-Life HQ, Texas Right to Life, to Austin for the upcoming legislation session.
Despite the difficulties that the well-funded abortion lobbyists cause, we are able to push through Pro-Life legislation that is the model for other states to copy. Our laws are also carefully crafted to avoid the review of pro-abortionist activist judges like Sonia Sotomayor.
But passing new Pro-Life laws requires deep resources.
You know what we're up against, so please support Texas Right to Life with a major donation of $100, $250, $500, $1,500 or even $3,000 right now.
So far, supporters like you have contributed $9,305 towards our goal of $25,000. But we must meet this goal by the end of the year if we are going to be prepared for Austin so please donate right now.
The legislative session begins on January 8 and ends in just a few months. Texas only holds the legislative assembly every other year — and we have new legislation that must be passed!
Lives, both the unborn and the elderly, hang in the balance.
Yours for Life,
