Joe Biden’s installment as the 46th president of the United States featured a lineup of entrenched politicians, leftist activists, and anti-Life celebrities. In place of crowds of supporters, however, Biden’s handlers filled the lawn of the national mall with nearly 200,000 American flags.
The American flag is a beautiful and bold symbol of our nation which has from the beginning has stood for the principle that “all men are created equal.” However, the Joe Biden Presidential Inaugural Committee decided to turn our symbol of freedom into a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood, the largest, wealthiest, and most powerful abortion organization in the U.S.
The inaugural committee created a webpage on which supporters were asked to donate funds to become a “Field of Flags” sponsor. The money raised through this display of American flags will fund close to 100 Democratic and progressive groups, one of which is the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Although possible to opt out from donating to Planned Parenthood one would have to pay careful attention to change the default setting. Further, the fine print on the donation page reads that the donor will be added to the Planned Parenthood Federation email list. The result being that the inauguration of Joe Biden was both a fundraiser and marketing event for Planned Parenthood.
During his campaign for president, Joe Biden, known for his frequent gaffes, began to recite the Declaration of Independence and then gave up after stumbling over his words. The Declaration reads thus;
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Anyone who followed the Biden-Harris campaign, which promised radical anti-Life policies, should not be surprised that their inauguration ceremony has found a way to benefit the most anti-Life organization on the planet.
Clearly, Joe Biden despises the most essential principles and tenets of our nation. The Right to Life is the most fundamental right that should be guaranteed to every person. The fact that Biden’s very inauguration raised money for an abortion organization is sadly indicative of the type of tenure he will most likely have.
Nevertheless, we must persist. We unwaveringly believe that all men and women are created equal, born or preborn, and we are obligated to stand up for the defense of the most vulnerable, to defend their Right to Life.
