Savannah Craven never expected a street interview to end in violence. But that’s exactly what happened when she asked one simple question: “Do you know what Planned Parenthood does?”
Craven is known for her street interviews with Live Action, where she calmly and respectfully challenges people on tough political issues—especially abortion. Her goal is to help people think critically, and uncover the truth they often haven’t considered. Her interview with Bianna Rivers was supposed to do just that, but it took a dark turn.
The conversation started out cordial, with Brianna sharing why she supported Planned Parenthood. However, once she began receiving pushback on her views with statistics and reasonable arguments, she grew frustrated.
Rivers argued that it’s better to stop suffering before it even starts. This is a typical anti-Life mindset that says people who might have a tough life shouldn’t be born at all. When Savannah pushed back and asked, “So should we just kill kids in foster care then?” Brianna snapped, “Why not!”
She added, “Who’s going to take care of them?”

Not long after these comments, the conversation rerouted back to foster care, to which Savannah said, “I’m not the one who admitted they would be okay with killing babies in foster care and children that have been abused.” This is when Brianna Rivers punched Savannah in the face twice, assaulting her on camera.
Now, Brianna Rivers has started a GoFundMe, claiming her attack was justified. So far, she has raised over $8,400 to fund her legal defense. As of April 10, Rivers has been arrested.
“…Savannah’s entire rhetoric is to rage bait, infiltrate, and manipulate people that she invites on her platform to ‘interview,’ and then forces their ideologies down their throats…” Brianna wrote.
However, this has not discouraged Savannah from her life-saving work. She vowed to continue her outreach. “This won’t stop me,” Craven posted. “The truth matters too much.”
Savannah Craven’s courage is a wake-up call to all Pro-Life advocates. We must never back down from spreading the about human Life, even when others do not agree.
