Planned Parenthood no longer commits abortions within Texas borders, but it hasn’t shut its doors. Instead, it now operates as an abortion travel agency, coordinating abortion on Texas babies in states like Colorado, New Mexico, and Kansas. Despite being the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood still receives millions of taxpayer dollars from the federal government.
Planned Parenthood is Pro-Abortion, not Pro-Woman
🚨 392,715 abortions in 2023 — A third of all abortions reported in the U.S.
🚨 Only 1 adoption referral for every 228 abortions
🚨 1 in every 5 women who visited Planned Parenthood in 2023 had an abortion
Planned Parenthood’s annual patient count has dropped from 5 million in the 1990s to just over 2 million today, while the number of locations has decreased from 900 to 600. Simultaneously, legitimate healthcare services such as HPV treatments, breast exams, and pap smears have fallen to fractions of what they were even fifteen years ago. Yet, the number of abortions committed annually steadily increased, and the amount of federal funding has skyrocketed.
Things have gotten so bad for the abortion giant that the New York Times published a hit piece in February of 2025, exposing patient dissatisfaction, misdiagnoses, poor follow-up care, and multiple malpractice lawsuits.
NYT’s February 2025 Report Included Negligent & Dangerous Medical Practices
🩸 Botched procedures documented, leading to live births and severe complications.
🩸 A Nebraska clinic failed to detect a four-month pregnancy before inserting an IUD, resulting in an emergency stillbirth.
🩸 Reports of expired medications, unsanitary conditions, and broken medical equipment.
🩸 A former nurse described clinics as “operating like a conveyor belt,” with women rushed through unsafe procedures.
Lawmakers should reject any dealings with Planned Parenthood, the nation’s leading abortion chop shop, plagued by financial mismanagement, medical negligence, and declining healthcare standards.
