Both NARAL and Compassion & Choices are doing everything in their power to continue the ruthless assault on all human life. NARAL supports the anti-Life movement and the most outspoken pro-abortion candidates; while Compassion & Choices are adamant proponents of euthanasia. Together they represent the destruction of Life from beginning to end. They are dedicated to taking the lives of the innocent and the elderly and are trying everything in their power to push anti-Life legislation through Congress.
NARAL claims to “make women’s lives better”, yet they are celebrating the removal of Crisis Pregnancy Center ads on YellowPages.com and SuperPages.com. Nancy Keenan, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America, praised some 53,000 supporters for calling to request the removal of the CPC ads. NARAL is also celebrating the “awareness” that was raised by organizing house parties that premiered the HBO documentary about how Crisis Pregnancy Centers “mislead” women. Keenan also applauded the NARAL supporters who sent emails to Congress to make sure ObamaCare provided plenty of access to reproductive rights.
NARAL is partly responsible for convincing the Department of Defense to spend tax-payers money to stock the morning after pill on every military base. Keenan has also promised to work with NARAL champions, Senators Michael Bennet (D-CO), Barbara Boxer (D-CA), and Patty Murray (WA), who won reelection on their pro-choice stances. She vowed to work against newly elected Pro-Life House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-OH) fight against the Stupak Amendment that would disallow federal funding of abortions and other “reproductive-health services.” She promised to not “allow politicians to take away women’s freedom and privacy.”
Barbara Coombs Lee, President of Compassion & Choices, gave thanks to their supporters for the landmark court decision in Montana that allows access to those seeking physician assisted suicide and for the legislative victory that will now require doctors to inform their terminally ill patients of all of the end-of-life options. Compassion & Care’s End-of-Life Consultation Program is responsible for pairing hundreds of patients and their families with volunteers that helped them with end-of-life planning. Compassion & Care will also be working with the legal team preparing the case in California that promotes the state’s Right to Know Act, which requires that terminally ill patients receive end-of-life counseling if requested.
Both anti-Life organizations have vowed to work against the Pro-Life majority in the House and the newly elected Pro-Life senators. These groups show us how the attacks on Life are not limited to the unborn. While the Life movement benefitted greatly in the recent elections, anti-Life supporters will do everything in their power to breakdown the major Life victories that were won in the election last month. We have a calling to defend all innocent human life from the moment of fertilization to natural death and we will continue to work diligently to ensure that each Life, born and unborn, is seen as sacred.
