Former CIA Director Michael Hayden said a Pro-Life U.S. senator should be removed “from the human race” for standing up to Joe Biden’s illegal funding of abortion travel.
After the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the Biden administration directed the Department of Defense to use taxpayer money for paid leave, lodging, and travel expenses for all abortions for military members and their families if the military member is stationed in a state that protects preborn children. The DOD implemented this policy on February 16, 2023, without the approval of Congress.
Pro-Life Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama pledged to block Biden’s military nominees until the president stops using national defense as a pawn for abortion.
The Senate usually confirms several military nominees at a time by unanimous consent. This ensures a quick turnaround. Tuberville prevented Democrats from speeding through its nominees by withholding his consent. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer can still follow the formal process to fill military positions with a full vote on the Senate floor but has largely declined to do so.
Democrats accused Tuberville of playing politics with the armed forces, but in reality, Tuberville’s goal would restore the military to the status quo before Biden inserted his woke agenda into our national defense.
A social media user posed the question Monday, “Should Tommy Tuberville be removed from his committee? Yes or No?”
Former CIA Director Michael Hayden—who also ran the National Security Agency (NSA) when America was attacked in 2001—responded “How about the human race?”
Sen. Tuberville said he reported Hayden to the Capitol Police for the apparent threat.
Gregg Re of The Daily Wire wrote, “Former CIA director hayden (torture enthusiast and left-wing hero) is seen here wishing for the death of a sitting US senator, Tommy Tuberville.”
Logan Dobson, the vice president of the Republican strategy firm Targeted Victory, tweeted, “Them: The media and the deep state are not out to get Republicans, that’s a conspiracy theory. CNN National Security Analyst And Former Head Of The CIA Michael Hayden: Tommy Tuberville should be assassinated.”

Polling shows that Alabama voters support their senator’s Pro-Life stand.
According to the Washington Examiner, 45% of registered voters support his stance, compared to only 33% supporting the Biden administration’s policy.
A spokesman for Tuberville said over the weekend, “The Pentagon clearly thinks forcing taxpayers to facilitate abortion is more important than confirming their top nominees without a vote. They could end this situation TODAY by dropping their illegal and immoral policy and get everyone confirmed rapidly, but they refuse.”
