Since the inaugural class of the Dr. Joseph Graham Fellowship for College Pro-Life Leaders in 2008, Texas Right to Life has sponsored 113 students. The Fellows work to promote the Culture of Life on their campuses. Through the educational and financial support of Texas Right to Life, college campuses in every corner of Texas have strong Pro-Life clubs and events that are changing hearts and minds. Each year, we work to expand the Fellowship, and we are thrilled to have 25 Fellows starting their training this summer.
All the work of the Fellowship would not be possible without the dedication of the students. These college Pro-Life leaders sacrifice a week of their summer when they enter and at least 50 hours per semester working for the Pro-Life cause, though Fellows often contribute many more hours than required. With gratitude for their hard work, we are pleased to announce the graduation of seven Fellows this May:
Joshua J. from Houston Baptist University
Baileigh P. from the University of North Texas
Nick V. from Houston Baptist University
Alex C. from Texas A&M International University
Allie R. from the University of Dallas
Fernando S. from Texas A&M University
Jamie R. from Texas A&M University
We are excited to see how these Pro-Life leaders will use their talents to promote the Culture of Life in their future endeavors. In the words of graduate Jamie R., “Pro-Life does not have to do with just abortion, euthanasia, human cloning, and embryonic stem cell research. Being Pro-Life is about supporting a Culture of Life, supporting a society that embraces people for who they are.” The strong Pro-Life values and dedication will follow these graduates wherever they go, and we are confident that they will bear much fruit.
Keep our recently graduated Fellows in your prayers!
