VIDEO: Supreme Court Nominee REFUSES to Say When Life Begins

“When does Life begin, in your opinion?” Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, was asked during her Senate confirmation hearing.

Noticeably uncomfortable, Judge Jackson hesitated for a long moment.

“Senator, um… I don’t… know,” she finally answered with an awkward laugh.

When pressed further for an answer Jackson repeated, “I don’t know,” and then responded, “I have personal, religious and otherwise beliefs that have nothing to do with the law in terms of when Life begins.”

“Do you have a personal belief, though, about when life begins?” a senator asked Jackson.

“I have a religious view… that I set aside when I am ruling on cases,” the judge answered.

Then Jackson was asked, “When does equal protection of the laws attach to a human being?”

Jackson began answering the question; “Well, Senator, I believe the Supreme Court,” but then she cut herself off. “Actually… actually I don’t know the answer to that question. I’m sorry. I don’t.”

Ketanji Brown Jackson’s flat refusal to answer the simple and yet absolutely vital question of when Life begins is more than incompetent but actually disgraceful.

Judge Jackson is undergoing these hearings to enter the highest court in the most powerful nation in human history. When confirmed, her decisions will impact the lives of over 330 million Americans. Yet, she either cannot or just will not answer the question of when human Life begins.

This is not the kind of question that can be ignored or simply glossed over. As a Supreme Court justice, Jackson will have to interpret the Constitution and decide matters concerning Americans’ rights.

Judge Jackson’s refusal to say when Life begins demonstrates a cynical and dangerous disregard for American rights, because there is NO RIGHT more critical and important than the Right to Life. Without this crucial right, Americans cannot be safe and no other rights matter.

Tragically, this stance is not surprising from a Biden nominee. In just over one year in office the Biden administration has been the MOST rabidly anti-Life and pro-abortion administration in American history.

During earlier questioning from Diane Feinstein, Democrat from California, Judge Jackson confirmed her belief that Roe v. Wade correctly established the “right” to kill preborn children in the womb through abortion.

Jackson stated, “Roe and Casey are the settled law of the Supreme Court concerning the right to terminate a woman’s pregnancy.”

When questioned further by Feinstein about whether she believed Roe to be a “super precedent” decision, Jackson responded, “all Supreme Court cases are precedential … Roe and Casey, um, as you say, have been reaffirmed by the court.”

Ketanji Brown Jackson earned the immediate praise of radical abortion groups across the country upon her nomination to the nation’s highest court.

Alexis McGill Johnson, president of the nation’s largest abortion business, Planned Parenthood, lauded Jackson’s nomination. Johnson tweeted, “Congratulations on your Supreme Court nomination, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson! We can’t wait to see the fantastic work you will do and will be here to support you along the way.”

Anti-Life groups and radically leftist leaders have continued to cheer on Jackson through her confirmation process.

However, if approved by the Senate, Jackson will not change the ideological balance of the court. Jackson will replace another Democrat-appointed justice who announced he will retire after this summer’s term. Major abortion-related cases, including Dobbs v. Jackson that could overturn Roe v. Wade, will already be decided before Jackson joins the bench.

Please continue to pray that the Supreme Court and our nation’s leaders will work to defend all Life, most especially the innocent preborn.
