10-15 minute walk to the Lobby Day starting location but will be closest to the Capitol when we end the day. - Street parking and other parking garages are in the area closer to the Texas Public Policy Foundation where we’ll begin the day but are typically more expensive than the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage.
Schedule:
- Tuesday, March 11 ~ 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Session 1: Legislative briefing; learn how to lobby; Q&A; lunch
- Session 2: Watch the House or Senate from the gallery; tour the Capitol; meet your legislators
- Session 3: Lobby targeted offices to vote for Pro-Life bills or against bad bills
