Sean Corcoran

CEO of Men for Life

Homelessness, Addiction, Unemployment, Criminal Behavior, Depression, Isolation, and Failing Out of Multiple Colleges: This describes the 8-year period following the loss of Sean Corcoran’s first son to abortion.

And on December 13, 2005, he was alone, lying on a dirty hotel room floor, waiting for the police to knock on the door, and overdosing on methamphetamine.

In what he expected to be his last moments, he began to pray that God would help him out of this just one last time; not out of fear of death, but to save his family the embarrassment of their son and brother being found dead of an overdose on a hotel room floor.

And God heard Sean’s prayers and led him out of that hotel room and into treatment, where he was able to begin recovery from addiction, and healing from the loss of his son, Michael.

After treatment, Sean went back to college, and then to law school. He married the woman he had been pursuing for nearly a decade, Dr. Michelle Swift Corcoran, and together they are the parents of two biological children and three adopted children.

After a 10-year successful career as a solo practitioner and managing partner of a larger firm, Sean stopped taking clients in 2021 and stepped back from the practice of law to be more present with his family.

In August of 2024, Sean accepted the role of CEO of Men for Life, a national nonprofit with the ultimate goal of changing the narrative that men have no voice in the abortion debate and replacing it with a new truth: That real men are Protectors, Providers, Pro-Family, Pro-Woman, and Pro-Life.

In addition to hosting the Men for Life Podcast on YouTube, where he interviews leaders in the pro-life movement and people who have been impacted by abortion, Sean has been speaking across the country about The Impact of Abortion on Men and Fathers, and Engaging Men to be Active Participants and Leaders in the Pro-Life Movement.

Melissa Bentley is the Founder and President of Loved Back to Wholeness, a ministry birthed from her own healing and redemption after an abortion in 1993. She leads four interconnected divisions of Loved Back to Wholeness: A Journey to Wholeness (healing), Breaking Silent Suffering (equipping), S.O.S. – Sharing Our Stories (gathering testimonies), and RISE (mobilizing the redeemed). Together, her work reflects her mission to bring restoration through Jesus, empower the healed and redeemed to rise, and help shift our culture from death to life.
