The Trump administration recently launched a new website designed to help women facing unexpected pregnancies and support families across the country. The site, Moms.gov, includes a map of pregnancy resource centers, information about healthy pregnancies and nutrition, and free online parenting and family resources.
For years, the abortion industry has tried to convince women that abortion is their only real option during an unexpected pregnancy. This new resource takes a different approach. Instead of pointing women toward abortion, it connects them with support, encouragement, and practical help.
Every mother deserves to know she is not alone. Every family deserves access to resources that protect babies instead of ending their lives. Pregnancy resource centers across the nation have spent decades doing exactly that by offering counseling, baby supplies, parenting classes, ultrasounds, and emotional support to women who feel scared or overwhelmed.
Seeing a national effort that promotes Life instead of abortion is refreshing.
But for many Pro-Life advocates, there are still major concerns that cannot be ignored.

1: Will the Trump admin stop abortion?
President Donald Trump and Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have repeatedly said that one goal of Moms.gov is to address the fertility crisis in the United States. Their concerns about declining birth rates are valid, but they haven’t acknowledged a huge factor: abortion. Each year, approximately 1.13 million babies are killed through elective abortion in the United States. That means more than one in five children conceived is intentionally killed through abortion, and there is still no federal protection for these children.
If President Trump and Secretary Kennedy are worried that there aren’t enough babies being born, they should do more to stop abortion nationally.
2: Moms.gov Promotes IVF
Moms.gov is great for helping moms who are already pregnant, but Pro-Life Christians also are concerned about the site’s promotion of in vitro fertilization (IVF). Thousands, if not millions, of babies are killed every year through IVF. The current IVF industry operates with few safeguards, often deciding which children live or die based on physical attributes like gender, physical fitness, and more. This is anti-Life eugenics. If they’re not killed, countless children are frozen indefinitely or used for research. Promoting IVF without addressing these ethical concerns is not a Pro-Life victory.
Washington Should Do More
The Trump administration can do more to protect preborn babies.
One policy that has become a huge problem is mail-order abortions.
A federal law passed in 1873 already bans the act of sending abortion pills in the mail, but the government refuses to enforce it. President Trump could stop mail-order abortions right now by telling the Department of Justice to enforce the Comstock Act.
Creating helpful websites and educational resources is good. Supporting women and families is important. And if leaders truly believe unborn children deserve protection, then action must go further.
President Trump can address our country’s “cataclysmic” fertility crisis by stopping abortion.
Hundreds of thousands of children are killed today through abortion pills sent by mail. Enforcing existing laws could save countless babies in the womb immediately.
That is why many Pro-Life Americans believe the conversation cannot stop at promoting resources alone. We should want every child protected, not just some.
The Pro-Life movement has always believed that both mother and baby deserve care, compassion, and support. We can celebrate positive steps forward while still calling on leaders to do more.
Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 31:8 to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” That includes continuing to advocate for laws that defend children in the womb.
If Christians remain silent, leaders may assume the fight for Life is no longer urgent. But the lives of babies are still on the line every single day.
That is why your voice matters.
Will you sign our petition today and ask the administration to take stronger action to protect babies in the womb?
