Houston, Texas – October 1, 2015: This Friday, October 2, Texas Right to Life will hold the 18th Annual Celebration of Life at Hilton Americas-Houston in the heart of downtown. The event will feature dynamic speakers, uplifting testimonies, updates on the current state of the Pro-Life movement in Texas, and a silent auction experience that does not disappoint. For four decades, Texas Right to Life has led Texas in the fight for Life. This has only been possible because of the commitment of grassroots Pro-Life advocates who have supported our mission and worked side-by-side with us in our important endeavors. Our annual Celebration of Life is our opportunity to come together with you, our supporters, in fellowship and thanksgiving for the Pro-Life successes of the past year, and look forward to another year of quantifiable success.
Houston radio legend and outspoken Pro-Lifer, Sam Malone, will be our emcee for the evening. We will hear the inside scoop on this year’s Legislative Session in Austin from Texas Right to Life’s leaders, and will be introduced to the Pro-Life Champions who fought unyieldingly for the successful passage of Pro-Life legislation in spite of much opposition from within the Legislature. Colleagues and family members of Senator Ted Cruz and Senator John Cornyn will also be present representing our Texas elected officials in Washington.
Our special guest Pro-Life Champions include: Representative Greg Bonnen (R-Friendswood), Representative Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola), Representative Matt Krause (R-Fort Worth), Representative Jeff Leach (R-Plano), Representative Tan Parker (R-Flower Mound), Representative Dade Phelan (R-Beaumont), Representative Matt Rinaldi (R-Irving), Representative Matt Schaefer (R-Tyler), Representative Mike Schofield (R-Katy), Representative Jonathan Stickland (R-Bedford), Representative Molly White (R-Belton), and Senator Charles Perry (R-Lubbock).
A limited number of tickets remain for next week’s Celebration of Life. More information is available here. You don’t want to miss this!
