Pro-Life Post: Issue 5

Both chambers’ committee assignments have been finalized and the representatives and senators have begun having committee meetings and holding hearings on filed bills.

Texas Right to Life serves the Pro-Life movement in Texas by monitoring and keeping a close watch on committee hearings. The team ensures that opportunities for Pro-Life gains are met and bills that could hurt the cause do not sneak through these legislative committees.

Last week, Texas Right to Life publicly released the Pro-Life agenda for the 84th session. This agenda is the result of more than a year of research and hosting multiple stakeholder meetings around the state with elected officials, experts, and Pro-Life leaders to determine what issues should be a priority this session.
