Katherine started college at Texas A&M University knowing she wanted to make a difference for others.
She felt God calling her to the Pro-Life movement. As she grew as a leader in the campus club, Pro-Life Aggies, she knew she needed more than passion. If she was going to really change the culture at Texas A&M, she needed a mentor and a community that had been in her shoes before.
That’s why she joined Texas Right to Life’s Dr. Joseph Graham Fellowship.
Through the Fellowship, Katherine received one-on-one guidance, attended in-depth Pro-Life trainings, and became part of a network of hundreds of past and present college Pro-Life leaders.
After graduating, Katherine continued her journey by joining Texas Right to Life’s Pro-Life Graduate Fellowship while earning her law degree at the University of Texas at Austin. There, she received additional training and started the Pro-Life club at UT Law, Texas Law Students for Life.
Today, Katherine represents the State of Texas as a lawyer at the Texas Office of the Attorney General, where she often works on Pro-Life cases.
She helps enforce the state’s Pro-Life laws in court and goes on the offense against criminal abortion activists.
Katherine worked on a lawsuit against the City of San Antonio after officials dedicated $100,000 in tax money to pay for women to leave the state to get abortions.
She also blasted abortion pill companies with cease-and-desist letters for illegally shipping abortion pills to Texas. With chemical abortions being the biggest threat to preborn babies today, the letters warned companies that they’ll face massive lawsuits from the state if they continue their deadly business.
In 2025, Katherine went to court to help block a Houston midwife performing illegal abortions. Investigators say that Maria Rojas aborted babies in Texas “for some side money.” Two women reported that they received abortions from Rojas—one at three months pregnant and the other at eight weeks pregnant. Katherine helped shut down this abortionist’s illegal network of clinics.
Most recently, Katherine has assisted in filing two lawsuits to fight back against the abortion pill industry: State of Texas v. Aid Access et al. and State of Florida and State of Texas v. FDA.
Just a few years ago, Katherine was a college student looking for ways to make a difference. Today, she is defending Life for our entire state.
Her story shows what is possible when students are equipped with strong mentorship, practical training, and a community committed to protecting innocent human Life.
