For years, Frida Baby built its reputation on helping parents navigate the messy realities of caring for little ones. From the NoseFrida SnotSucker to the Windi Gas Passer, the brand became known for practical, solution-oriented baby products that many families trusted.

But now, Frida Baby is under fire.

Parents and commentators are raising concerns after many realised the company’s marketing included images of babies paired with sexual innuendos and adult-themed humor. What some may dismiss as “just jokes,” others see as something far more troubling.

Influencer Chrissy Horton addressed the controversy directly, saying, “It’s not humor, it’s desensitizing.”

This isn’t just about edgy marketing. It reflects something deeper happening in our culture.

When babies are treated as props for adult humor, when innocence is blurred for shock value, we reveal how casually we’ve begun to treat childhood itself. The same culture that laughs at inappropriate jokes involving babies is the culture that debates whether babies in the womb deserve protection at all.

Abortion depends on one central lie: that a preborn child is not fully human, not worthy of dignity, not deserving of protection. But when we lose sight of the sacredness of childhood outside the womb, when babies become punchlines instead of persons, it becomes easier to deny their value inside the womb, too.

Protecting preborn children is not only about laws. It’s about culture.

It’s about whether we instinctively see a baby and think “protect” — or whether we see a marketing opportunity.

Parents should not have to worry about sexual undertones while shopping for basic hygiene tools for their newborn. Babies deserve respect, innocence, and to be treated as the precious human beings they are.

A culture that honors Life will guard childhood fiercely — in the womb and beyond.

If we want to build a society where every baby is welcomed and protected, we must start by refusing to normalize anything that diminishes their dignity.

Because once we stop protecting innocence in small ways, it becomes much easier to justify abandoning it in bigger ones.
