House Democrats Pass Bill for Unlimited Abortion Across America

Congressional Democrats passed a bill Friday to overturn all current Pro-Life laws in the nation and prevent states like Texas from passing future laws protecting preborn children. H.R. 8296, the so-called “Women’s Health Protection Act,” would kill thousands of preborn baby girls and harm countless pregnant women. The House passed the bill by a vote of 219 to 210 and the policy now heads to the U.S. Senate.

The Women’s Health Protection Act has already passed the House and failed in the Senate twice over the past year because it lacked the 60 votes needed to stop a filibuster and move forward. Joe Biden called upon Senate Democrats to nix the filibuster in order to ram their pro-abortion agenda through, but leftists thankfully lack the support to set such a dangerous precedent.

H.R. 8296 would undo all state protections for preborn children in America. This includes long-standing laws like bans on gruesome late-term abortions and new laws that protect all unborn children from elective abortion after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last month.

Texas Right to Life Senior Legislative Associate Rebecca Parma responded:

“House Democrats passed the most extreme abortion bill in U.S. history, allowing abortion everywhere up to the moment of birth. This attempt to appease the radical Left will backfire with everyday Americans who oppose unlimited abortion, and, if it became law, would be immediately declared unconstitutional.”
