Democrat Stacey Abrams has once again made another outrageous claim about abortion. This time, the Georgia gubernatorial candidate claimed that children and laws banning abortion are the reason Americans are worried about inflation.
“While abortion is an issue, it nowhere reaches the level of interest of voters in terms gas, food, bread, milk, things like that,” an MSNBC host pointed out before asking, “What could you do as governor to alleviate the concerns of Georgia voters about those livability, daily, hourly issues that they’re confronted with?”
“Having children is why you’re worried about your price for gas, its why you’re concerned about how much food costs,” Abrams responded.
Abrams’ solution for Americans worried about inflation? Abort your children.
As candidate for Georgia governor, Abrams advocates for abortion without restriction through all nine months of pregnancy, funded by taxpayer dollars.
Her stance on abortion is so extreme that she just recently caused a wave of outrage when she claimed that, “there is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body.” An absurd claim which flies directly contrary to established medical understanding of fetal development and denies commonly practiced medical practice.
Stacey Abrams’ response, though ludicrous, is hardly surprising or new. The abortion industry has been attempting to paint itself as the solution to economic difficulties for years now. Rather than proposing actual solutions to difficult circumstances, the abortion industry and anti-Life politicians have long been telling parents to simply abort, that is kill, their children before they are born.
Besides completely ignoring the real issues that Americans are facing, Abrams, along with the vast majority of the Democratic party, have been thumping for unlimited abortion, flying in the face of polls which indicate their position to be very unpopular with Americans.
Democrats, including Texas candidate for governor Beto O’Rourke, have been betting on abortion to be their winning ticket in the midterm election. Yet, Republicans who have taken solid, uncompromising positions in defense of Life are performing very well in the polls.
