“GOD BLESS ABORTIONS:” Activists Hang Blasphemous Banner on Jesus Statue

Abortion activists defaced the Christ of the Ozarks monument in Arkansas last week with a 44-foot banner saying “God Bless Abortions.”

Indecline, a pro-abortion group, claimed they committed the act, and also vandalized a Christian billboard in Mississippi earlier this year.

Standing 67 feet tall, Christ of the Ozarks tops the Magnetic Mountain near Eureka Springs. The Great Passion Play oversees the care of the monument. The abortion activists disguised themselves as construction workers before sunrise Friday, climbed the statue, and hung their blasphemous banner.

According to KNWA Fox 24, the group vandalized the statue in “direct response to the dramatic attempts being made in Arkansas and throughout the South, to ban abortion services to women in need.”

“Lord help them,” responded Randall Christy, the curator of the religious monument. “Maybe he’ll somehow touch them and make them realize how bad that message really is.”

Christy plans to press charges against Indecline for trespassing and vandalism.

Indecline says this will not be their last project about abortion.

Months ago, Indecline also admitted to defacing a Christian billboard that read, “Worried? Jesus offers security.” The pro-abortion group painted over the message to say, “Worried? Planned Parenthood offers abortions.”

This is one among many escalating attacks on Christians for their beliefs. However, we will never quit. As believers, we call for bigger and bolder action from our church leaders and from our elected officials to protect preborn children. Join the movement by signing our petition.
