This photo of Chris Dunn went around the world. Chris is seen praying for his life in a Texas hospital.
But the hospital had other plans; a hospital committee issued a death sentence. The committee informed Chris and his mother, Evelyn, that they, the death panel, decided the hospital would no longer treat Chris. Death would be imposed on Chris against his wishes and his mothers' wishes. That's when Evelyn called us.
From the local news, Fox News and the United Kingdom's Daily Mail, the world saw Chris Dunn beg the hospital to protect his Life.
Shamefully, Texas law gives hospitals EVERY LEGAL RIGHT to overrule the wishes of patients, even if the patients are conscious and can speak for themselves! And any hospitalized patient is at risk, regardless of ability to pay and even if the patient is walking and talking! What’s worse is that billion-dollar corporate hospitals that receive our tax dollars have protected this law.
The time has come to end this unjust, anti-Life law! NO more disabled patients should be victimized by hospital death panels.
Will you join our battle to protect Life and to reform and repeal the Texas Death Panel law by clicking and following this link to make a year-end contribution to your Pro-Life headquarters of $100, $250, $500, $1,500 or even $2,500 right now?
A Pro-Lifer like you has committed to match up to $25,000 of your contributions. If you give $100, your contribution will be worth $200. If you give $500, your life-saving donation will be worth $1,000!
As I type this, Texas Right to Life is in the middle of protecting TWO MORE patients who are victimized by the Texas Death Panel Law. Even if we can protect their lives, I assure you that there will be more victims.
Last week, Chris, a former police officer, died. But he died with his family next to him, not by a death panel pulling the plug on his life support.
Our extremely expensive, emergency work can only happen with the financial support from Pro-Lifers like you.
The end of the year is in only 2 days. Make your commitment to Life with an urgent year-end contribution right now:
Yours for their Lives,
