Realizing that they’re losing the fight in states like Texas, abortionists have begun tightening their stranglehold on blue states.
California and New York’s radical anti-Life policies are well known and publicized. California governor Gavin Newsom made national headlines when he announced his plans to make the state a destination for “abortion tourism.” Less talked about is Colorado’s extreme shift to fully embrace the murder of babies through abortion.
Colorado law allows the killing of preborn children all the way to birth. Additionally, Colorado does not mandate any waiting period between a woman’s initial examination and the abortion. Without a required waiting period, abortion businesses can easily rush and pressure a woman into an abortion without giving her any time to consider.
Now, the Democrat controlled state government is seeking to further enshrine abortion atop Colorado law.
This month, the Colorado House of Representatives passed a bill, dubbed the “Reproductive Health Equity Act,” which would codify abortion into state law. The state Senate is also expected to pass the bill and the governor has signaled he will sign the law into effect.
This diabolical Colorado bill declares that “a fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus does not have independent or derivative rights under the laws of the state.”
The abortion industry and anti-Life politicians’ contempt for preborn Life has almost never been on fuller display than in this bill. If passed, the Colorado government will be officially declaring that preborn children are not human and have absolutely no rights under the law.
Colorado abortionists are gleeful about the prospect of the anti-Life law’s passage. Like California, Colorado abortionists hope to become the destination for abortion minded women across the U.S. “We’re planning on it,” Margie Andersohn, a Denver area abortion manager told NPR. Andersohn shared that her abortion business is already hiring more employees and acquiring new equipment to commit abortions after 20 weeks.
