“I’m gonna wash it down real good.”
A video circulating online appears to show a mother taking abortion pills after learning she was expecting a little girl instead of a boy.
In the video, Dee Drac reacts to the gender reveal by stomping her foot and saying, “I don’t want no ladybug. I wanted a junebug.”
Someone then hands her a Coca-Cola and yells, “Wash it down real good!”
As she sings “Jesus,” she pulls pills from a manilla bag. After taking them, she exclaims, “Woo! That’s the best gift, that’s the gender! No gender!”
Then someone yells, “We got one, try to kill it!” as the crowd cheers.
Let that sink in. A baby’s life is being treated like a disappointment that can simply be erased.
A child’s worth does not depend on whether the baby is a boy or a girl. Every child is made in the image of God and deserves the chance to live.
Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us that God forms us in the womb and that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
A little girl is not less valuable because her parents wanted a boy. She is not a mistake. She is a human being.

And this video raises serious questions about a culture that increasingly presents abortion as an acceptable response to an unwanted pregnancy, even when the reason is disappointment over a baby’s gender.
Some women on TikTok have also shared stories of choosing abortion after learning their baby’s gender was not what they hoped for. Even admitting to booking secret abortions and telling their husband they had a miscarriage.
While these accounts do not tell us how common sex-selective abortion is, they reveal a heartbreaking attitude: that a child’s life can depend on whether the parents get what they want.
Women facing unexpected pregnancies deserve compassion and support. But real compassion does not mean pretending abortion is harmless or celebrating the end of an innocent life.
As Christians, we are called to defend those who cannot defend themselves. Proverbs 31:8 says, “Open your mouth for the mute.”
That includes babies in the womb who have no voice of their own.
Abortion is not a gift. A child is not disposable. And no baby should lose her life simply because someone wanted a boy instead.
We must reject a culture that tells women abortion is the answer and instead build one that protects both mothers and their children.
