Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life for millions of Americans. People ask AI questions about recipes, health, relationships, school, finances, and even major decisions. According to Pew Research Center, 74% of Americans ages 18 to 29 use AI at least a few times a week. Among adults ages 30 to 49, 67% do the same.

That means the majority of people in their childbearing years are turning to AI regularly for information and advice.

Why does that matter to the Pro-Life movement?

Because the abortion industry has noticed it too.

Groups that support abortion are now openly discussing ways to train artificial intelligence systems to promote abortion as the answer to unplanned pregnancy. One organization, Plan C, even bragged in its annual report about working to influence how AI platforms answer questions about abortion.

They explained that AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI are changing how people search for abortion information. They also said they are actively working with companies and websites to improve what they call “abortion answers” across these platforms.

In other words, they understand something very important: whoever shapes the information people receive can shape the decisions people make.

That should concern every Pro-Life American.

Today, many young women facing an unexpected pregnancy do not first call a parent, pastor, or friend. Instead, they open an app or search online. They ask questions when they feel scared, confused, or alone.

If artificial intelligence is trained to treat abortion as the obvious solution, countless vulnerable women could be pushed toward ending the life of their child before hearing any other option.

Even worse, AI often presents opinions as if they are settled facts. Many people trust these systems because the answers sound confident and immediate. But technology is not neutral when the people influencing it have a clear agenda.

This is why the Pro-Life movement cannot afford to stay silent.

We cannot assume truth will automatically rise to the top. We must be willing to speak clearly, compassionately, and courageously in a culture filled with confusion.

The answer is not fear. The answer is to become trusted voices in our own communities.

Young women in crisis need real people who will listen without judgment, offer practical help, and remind them that both they and their babies have value. They need mothers, grandmothers, pastors, friends, and neighbors who are willing to step in with love and truth before the internet does.

Scripture tells us in Matthew 5:13-14 that believers are called to be the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world.” In a time when technology increasingly shapes hearts and minds, that calling matters more than ever.

Artificial intelligence may become one of the loudest voices in our culture. But it should never become the only voice a frightened woman hears.

The Pro-Life movement must continue building relationships, supporting pregnancy centers, mentoring young people, and sharing truth boldly and compassionately. Because behind every online search is a real woman, a real child, and a life that matters.
